Children’s Center of Southwest Missouri facilitates the following services:
- Coordinated interviews and investigations with all agencies and professionals working as a multidisciplinary team
- Evidence gathering, verbal testimony, medical documentation, and other relevant evidence necessary for criminal prosecution and custody proceedings
- Swifter prosecution of child abuse cases
- Preparing child victims and their non-offending family members for the criminal justice process
- Referrals for mental health services which can help the healing process and help protect children from further victimization
- Multidisciplinary professional training in all areas of child abuse
- Child abuse education and prevention services
